Reminder to CB on what he’s in for...
Old dude in a silver Nissan Rogue goes straight in a right turn lane cutting me right off.
White Corolla honks at me for stopping for a pedestrian crossing. In turn he gets honked by a gray Camry for randomly stopping, probably because he wasn’t using his turn signals. Then overtakes me and gives me a death stare.
White Lexus RX pulls right into traffic cutting me off from stationary in a parking spot, cuts me off and goes right into a left turn lane, no signals at all.
Yep, just another normal day of driving in Toronto.

I drove twice in Toronto in the 4 months I lived there. As a European the lack of driving skill in other road users really shocked me.
Although it shocked me even more when I was using my bicycle on the short (4km I think) commute to my internship. I would basically be almost run over at least once a day. After a while I understood why there are so many white bicycles...

Come South to the greater DC area. I thought I was desensitized to bad driving, but those people are practically geniuses at it. Worst I've seen on the whole eastern seaboard from Florida to Maine, and that includes Boston, New Jersey, and Florida.

BC is probably worse, especially in urban traffic. I think denser areas of Vancouver are worse than Seattle (yet BC people move faster on the highway than Puget Sound “drivers”).

You should visit Seattle, similar obliviousness and likely similar demographics behind the wheel. Certain suburban areas are especially good (I live in one of them).

yeah... folks have been kinda nutballs the last couple days.... I had some older guy in a nice older F250 diesel try to pass me around the OUTSIDE of a traffic circle this morning. It of course didn’t work and he got PO’d. He’d been riding me (even though we were in traffic, nowhere for him to go,) so I just pulled to the shoulder and let him storm past . But I ended up following him for like 7 miles since there was traffic. All of that to literally be 2 seconds ahead of me. Dude...
